Late 60’s to early 70’s fuzz tones


The origins of the Fuzz lie around the MKIV Bender from the late 60’s, early 70’s. It is a germanium transistor based circuit and is the most versatile of Hudson’s line up. This pedal is loaded with NOS Mullard transistors that have been selected and tested for gain and leakage. The circuit has been biased to perfection.

The fuzz can go from big, thick and smooth to super bright ice pick to the forehead tones. You can go from gritty to smooth fuzz depending on how the controls are set. It really covers everything from 60’s to 70’s fuzz tones with ease.

Handwired from scratch onto a vintage-style stripboard, using the highest quality components, each Fuzz comes loaded with Alpha pots, a heavy duty Alpha switch, Neutrik Jacks, carbon film resistors, WIMA / BC / Vishay capacitors and other high quality components.


Controls:

TREBLE BASS - Controls the tone of the pedal.

SUSTAIN - Controls the intensity of the fuzz effect.

VOLUME - Controls the volume of the pedal.


Power:

A standard 9 volt DC regulated power supply with a 2.1mm negative tip barrel plug or a 9 volt PP3 battery
